About This Experience
Stockholm's archipelago has 30,000 islands. The tourist boats go to three of them. I take people by kayak to the outer islands where there are no cars, no hotels and no crowds — just pine forest, flat granite rock and water that's surprisingly swimmable in summer. We paddle for about 90 minutes, land on a small island I've been visiting for 20 years, and eat a proper Swedish outdoor lunch: crispbread, gravlax, hard boiled eggs, dill and local cheese. Kayaking experience not required — I teach everything you need in 20 minutes.
