Women's Ski Technique Clinic — Kitzbühel, One Day on the Hahnenkamm

Most women who reach intermediate skiing plateau at the same point: they can get down blue and red runs but they're skidding their turns rather than carving them, and they slow down by turning across the hill rather than by controlling edge pressure. This is not a fitness or courage problem. It is a technical problem rooted in the fact that women's centre of gravity is lower and more hip-forward than the male body that ski technique was originally developed around. I have spent 10 years teaching women specifically and I know exactly where the technique diverges. This full-day clinic on the Hahnenkamm — the mountain that hosts the world's most famous downhill race — covers carving mechanics, hip position, edge angles on steep terrain, and the psychological patterns around committing to a fall line. We ski 9am to 3pm with a proper Tyrolean lunch at a mountain hut (Brettljause, kaiserschmarrn, glühwein). You will ski differently at the end of the day.
